Tzuyu (쯔위) is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is a member of the K-pop girl group Twice, which was formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality show "Sixteen" in 2015.
Tzuyu was born on June 14, 1999, in Tainan, Taiwan. She was discovered by JYP Entertainment in a dance competition in Taiwan when she was in middle school and later moved to South Korea to pursue a career in music. Tzuyu is the oldest member of Twice and is known for her dancing skills and beautiful visual appearance.
Tzuyu made her debut with Twice in October 2015 with the release of the group's first EP "The Story Begins." Since then, Twice has released several successful EPs and albums and has become one of the most popular and successful K-pop groups in the world. Tzuyu has also appeared in several variety shows and dramas in South Korea.
In addition to her career in music, Tzuyu is also known for her philanthropic work, including supporting various charities and participating in environmentally-conscious projects.
